Assembly Line

Assembly Line

A Poem by Emily
"

Experimenting with the joy of wordplay

"

It's not about your hair line,

                             waistline, or

                                    bottom line.

We are not from an assembly line.

God doesn't tell us to get in line or stay behind.

So don't let your faith decline!

Your life's not fine if God is not how your defined.

How do you respond when someone inquires what you believe?

           Wait up,

              hold up,

                  back up.

Should they even have to ask?

We are meant to bask in His goodness,

                   be transparent as glass.

His Will is our task, so don't mask His glory

           inside of you.

I don't usually do religion or politics, but this write is fine. There's a lot to digest in those few verses...first off I think I missed one of those lines, not your's, the one where they give out patience to deal people who think they need to tell me and other's what to believe in...Great read!

I like the title you have. It goes perfectly with the poem. It is very true. We are not made in an assembly line. God made us each unique and different. You are very talented.
