The Power of Words.

The Power of Words.

A Poem by YouxBelongxWithxMe
"

So what if he's different?

"

You take a glance

and look for his flaws,

using your careless mind

to make a new law:

that he will be labeled "weird"

instead of his name

Yet, you don'thave the guts

to say it to his face.

You come to me

and point out his faults,

expecting me to agree

with the gruesome words on your tongue

But guess what; I don't

and I never would

I can see the great things

that you never could.

The beauty; the warmth;

the irredescent shine;

the heart of gold

that can't help but make you smile.

He's quirky, and I like it,

like everything you don't

But, if you hurt him in the slightest,

prepare to go down;

prepare for a fight

but, most of all,

prepare to be proved wrong.

About
I'm happy, I have a nice life. Great friends; funny family; good attitude. But I'm also a teenager, so I'm not always taken seriously. I'm just seen as a kid, rather than being treated like a regular .. more..
