Sick of This

I can't take it anymore.

I want to be alone,

so I can cry

Finally letting it all pour out,

since no one cares enough

to let me vent through my mouth.

I want to scream,

telling everyone

to just shut up

and listen to me.

They say true friends

will see through the fake smiles

but what if they don't

and keep laughing at jokes,

the punchline on you.

Meanwhile, you're just dying

to speak the truth,

to lie in someone's arms

with every intention

of comforting you.

My life is made up

of being teased

by the ones I love.

Of being misunderstood,

and feeling

Like no one gives a damn,

of emotions being stuck.

Well, I'm done

with hiding my tears

and giving more

than I will ever get.

If I keep feeling like this,

I just might dissapear.

And maybe then

everyone will listen.

Because I'm so sick of this.
