Hardly Fair

Hardly Fair

A Poem by YouxBelongxWithxMe
"

Treat people the way YOU wanna be treated.

"

We used to play

for hours a day,

just me and you

and two imaginations

the world never saw coming.

We used to fight

for hours at the most,

Aspen Elementary

being the host.

It would be over silly things

such as a game

but back then,

there were no alternate names.

"B***h" has been thrown around

quite a few times,

the control not to slap you

made me lose my mind.

Now times have changed

but to you,

it's all still a game

So you make it rain on others

so you can get

the winning fame.

It's hardly fair

for you to tie my rights with chains,

but they have now been broken

and we will never be the same.

You need a new set of rules,

that's my message for you.

This summer has changed me,

but what has it done for you?

I find my own experiences shadowed in yours, every piece i've read seems to produce so much emotion, and i can't help but think i've been there, i've felt that. If you ever need a friend to talk to, remember i'm here.

About
I'm happy, I have a nice life. Great friends; funny family; good attitude. But I'm also a teenager, so I'm not always taken seriously. I'm just seen as a kid, rather than being treated like a regular .. more..
