What Is Lonely?

Lonely are the cold dark nights,

With silence in the air.

Being in a crowded room,

Yet invisible, motionless, blank eyes stare.

Lonely is your hopes and dreams, 

Your heart broken and in despair.

An empty house, quiet,

Lifeless and bare.

Lonely is family, friends, love and

Successes we compare.

Feeling broken and hurt, unsure,

of how to start the repair.

Lonely is the day to day events,

With no one you can share.

It is the question, the if you disappeared ...

Would anyone even care?

Ok, this is cool; I sit and just scroll through the new stuff and it usually takes like 4 pages to find something, it’s like a reward or something lol. The way every stanza rhymes is great and gives the whole piece a ring; I really enjoyed reading it. And yeah, when we hit the skids, a couple people will care; the rest, eeeh. But hey, how many do you need?
