Dead Time

Dead Time

A Chapter by Stu. T.H.

Time has abandoned me,
Like a moving train abandoning its tow,
Dead weight ought to be forgotten,
Grave sins never forgiven,
Like a wind being tied to a corner of the earth,
Unable to unite with the sky,
I grow sorrow as mushrooms,
Like the ink nervously stuck in the tube of a pen,
Unable to write new heights,
I lazily stuck to old timers,
Like a traveler heading to the cave of dragons,
Seeking only the end of their world,
Like a pirate pillaging without his crew,
Seeking only the end of others,
Or perhaps his own,
Might the wind be dead at this time?
Then I must be the killer.
Dead it is, as time is.
I have killed it.
Silly me.
