Nonsense (4): The Equations of LoveA Poem by Stu. T.H.Just Nonsense-spouting session. I was drunk.
Love, is not asymmetric,
The distance I've travelled wouldn't be-- Able to measure the length I go for love; Love, is not at all static, Even with closed eyes, I can see-- The illusion of love illustrated by a thousand dove; Love is... not perfect, Sometimes we Hurt Those who we Love, For some Reasons, Love is ... as a snake, Sometimes its venom numbs our nerves, For no Reason; Love alone cannot grant us utility, Utility that we know is required to make our lives better, Love alone cannot evolve monkeys, Monkeys in which we know, cannot build their own shelters; But then what defines love? If you wish to scale it, go ahead, But that would never go anywhere, I bet, But then what defines love? If you wish to test it, ago head, But that would never give any hope, I bet, But then what is love? Is it visible? I can see it amongst people, But then what is love? Is it smellable? I can smell amongst the beds, But then what is love? Is it touchable? I can touch it by touching you, What is love? Is it something that exists, Between me, and you? (December 5, 2023) © 2023 Stu.
