The Second Greatest Ridicule -- The Cynical Nature of Deathly Fear

The Second Greatest Ridicule -- The Cynical Nature of Deathly Fear

A Poem by Stu. T.H.
"

Intrusive thoughts won again ~ Ah... I'm hungry.

"
I once was filled with fear of having no tomorrow,
In the sense that I might cease to exist, and my life would be hollow,
But then, I grew hungry, and had to go out for lunch so sloppily,
Yet dining on my food, and over time, slowly,
I forgot about my previous worries,
And forgot to pray and say I was sorry;

For anything, and everything I've done,
Funny, isn't it?

Uuuu... Hunger is a great foe that I have yet to defeat; It's not my lunch hour yet... 12:04 December 4, 2023.
