Her, Another's Wife

Her, Another's Wife

A Poem by Stu. T.H.
"

Unfavourable Sapphic Fiction :(

"
You, another's wife, are now at my door,
Wretched, so thin, and soaked to the core,
It has not been like a state I've seen you in before,
Please do come in, but talk no more;
I wish not to hear a word from you, understood?
And believe me, it is for the best, this isn't rude,
If you are hungry, I will bring you food,
But I will not tolerate your temperate moods;
So you and Him have broken up,
Thus you gathered your belongings and packed up,
To come visit the only one you know from around these parts,
And that would ironically be mine, is it not?
You still remember what happened to me, do you not?
You left scars in my heart with your hurtful remarks,
Despite the only thing I've ever done wrong is loving you,
You, my once friend, couldn't think for me and put yourself in my shoes,
So when you found out, you screamed and called me a devil spawn,
Calling me fake with endless other taunts,
So, if you are seeking company tonight: No, thank you,
I would be much more comforted by wisp of December shrills,
Still, I have alcohol to spare in my refrigerators,
Get drunk if you wish, but don't knock my stuff over,
It has been a long day for me too, do know that,
Now we are both adults so don't act like a lass,
Hmn, what ? -- You desire my company?
Are you insane, stupid, or straight up silly?
Perhaps alcohol was a bad suggestion, really,
Because I am in no mood to take care of a baby,
Hey! -- Stop, what are you doing!?
That is my shirt, hey! Watch where you're touching!
Tch, If You Touch Me Again -- I'll Cut Your Hands Off,
There had never been anything between us so Just Stop!
If you desire company,
Cry yourself to sleep with a melody,
Frankly, I do not care if you are lonely,
Nor do I care if you now suddenly want me,
No -- I am not interested in hearing your story,
When your face's redden, and your mind's soggy,
I do not care for your sorry's,
And it'd be in our best interests if you stay a nobody,
Disfigured, your image is, to me,
Just another person, that I do not wish to see,
Pitiful, pathetic, and annoying being of a person,
You may stay, but out of my way --
Regardless of your reasons, I do not despise you with all my heart,
Simply because in my new life, you play no part,
So please, shut up and tuck yourself to sleep,
If you need to, drown in your sorrow so deep,
And these verses, they are not made for you either,
It's made for me, a lunatic in her outlandish fever,
So good night for you, you foolish mutt,
Because at day's end, I do not care for you, nor your lively fuss.
