Sonnet: Hydrangeas Under RainA Poem by Stu. T.H.A loner's thoughts under rain
Under the flying rain, I watched hydrangeas blossoming,
Bursting our their colors and shades dying the world more colorful, I indulged alone with a sense of longing, Asking myself to imagine the world belongs in my bottle, Then, I would surely be able to give it a good shake, Dying the world in purplish hues of hydrangeas, Then surely this would be how I punctuate my heartache, And my choking heart would grow happy branches, But the motion of my bottle shaking were caught by another bypasser, She darted me a puzzled but kind look, how embarassing, I am certain she heard my whole rant, but I didn't ask her, "I too like hydrangeas", she said, "they are amazing", Then she sat herself down beside me, watching rain pour unto those flowers, Though we were both strangers and bus riders, I didn't find her a bother. - Stu.
