Sonnet: Will You Allow a Chirping Bird, Author Dave Brown?A Poem by Stu. T.H.In response to author Dave Brown's Garden Wall. Please hear yourself, the desires from within, There are many reasons why you'd prefer a nest's comfort, Your holed-up desires, I find much akin, I too, at times, write in my pot while the outside world distorts, But even with a Garden Wall so high, So tippy-topsy high that it touches the sky, Will you accept companionship from those that fly, Those who chirp rhymes as yours and are warblers as I, So even if you had been content with your needs, Will you still allow a chirping bird into your garden, For it to lend you nonsensical verses with its tweets? For it to lend you images of where it had been and stationed? So, author Dave Brown, what say you on this matter, Will you allow this chirping bird into your garden later? - Stu. T.H.
