Drunken: Moonlight DancersA Poem by Stu. T.H.
Under the full moon,
The drunkard bard broke out a tune, For the two people to begin their dance, Moves were made, their feet swept the sand, Oh, drunken, so mesmerising, The two people and their dances, so enticing, Under the full moon, by the brightly lit sea, The scenery went silent, leaving just you and me, With you turning your hands ever closer to me, In this drunken music, unseeing melody, I feel your embrace for me, it's hotter than the wine, I feel your love for me, everytime our hands intertwined, So in that drunken haze, I did something I've never done up till date, With fictitious courage, I garnered the feelings in my storage, I love you, said I cheesily, Which turned me into much of a silly, And I wished you had bursted out laughing, But by this sea where the moon is napping, Your drunken blush darkened, And again, my heart was shooken, And in this drunken dance, we found love, It's not romantic, but at least I got to see your curves, And yes, your majestic curves, Those that sent my heart to the sea and off to the surf, Then again, silence, it prolonged, But we continued to dance, even without a song, I wished it was lust I was seeing, But the sensation that chased my sorrows fleeing, I just knew it was love, In that instance, I found love. - Stu.
