Sonnet: Sunflower Hill, UnlovedA Poem by Stu. T.H.An Eastern secret, so very intimate with me, though this work is not fashioned professionally.
On that sunny hill,
Where sunflowers nested, Time stood still, When our love manifested, Before wind could blow it away, We spent days together and memories were made, We made a vow to come back another day, But the day never came, I'm sorry I was so late, On this sunny hill, Where wind once whispered, It sends me chills, Whenever I try to find love, I stutter, To this day, I still remember your smile, under that yellow sun, Your gracious beauty on the sunflower hill that left me stunned. - Stu.
