Visually beautiful. Golden sand, palm trees and the gentle incoming tides. You transported me. I imagined myself relaxing in that hammock in the summer sun. Delightful. It is cold here today.

And to add to your comment, it is also cold here on my side unfortunately. Though, perhaps it was the chilling temperature that really got my pen writing. I feel like the Little Match Girl who colored her own vision with tools of imagination, or like Hans Christian Anderson who wished for the betterment of the world through his works, I too wish selfishly for this painstaking cold to flee sooner. Until then, I can only write works to indulge myself.

Carry on writing. Summer will come round again eventually :))
Stu,
This one really hits me. I'm a Florida boy, away from home these last twenty-five years. I'd lie in the sand if I could be near the sea again.

By chance you are a fellow sea enjoyer? Then it's quite lovely to hear about someone else outside of my social circle also enjoys the sea as much as I, or even more so.
Pardon me if I may appear too intrusive but I took a glance through your gallery of works, many are fascinating works that depict the elegance of waves and the ocean thus I wish to befriend you and perhaps learn more about your fascination with the sea, and maybe it would invoke and relive another passion deep inside of me.
Again, thank you for stopping by.
Leon,
The sea is my long-lost past. I miss her. My first love is poetry.

But did you know from the spiritual East, they have rumours that if you place hammocks under tree shades and leave it there overnight without anyone tending it... ghosts will occupy those hammocks? Oouuuuh ~ Quite scary yes? The tale is old though, but it's still quite an unspoken rule not to leave hammocks unoccupied or set them under tree shades in seclused places. Maybe... I'll write a tale of occult about that.
