Our little Secret(s): Chapter 0

{Prologue}

On John Streets, 

The Second and the Fourth,

Just over the bridges,

And few avenues aloof,

There resides a prestigious schooling,

For talented youths.

Here in Saint Lucia,

School for Gifted Young Girls,

We train the young minds,

How to grow undeterred,

To focus on education,

And how to sing praises,

How to be more patient,

And get into happier places,

Our teaching includes so many,

Which of the subjects for any,

Any lady who wishes at all,

Be graceful and known by all.

And we promise with delight,

There is no better place to fly your ‘kite’,

Because here your children can learn,

How to face off fateful challenges, with twists and turns,

So apply now to indicate,

Your wish is to sophisticate,

And we promise with all manners and grace,

After graduation, you’ll go to a happier place.

Author's Note

There are a few things I wish to make clear first.

1) This is the introduction to a work I've been working on aside from my other works, since November 6, 2023. I will be posting them in fragments, for lore purposes before compiling them.

2) The future tags for the work may be: Comedy, Satirical, LGBTQ, Love, Romance, Poem, Poetry, Monologue, etc.

3) Warning: Work is extremely queer in nature, but not explicit, and it rhymes (most of the time).

4) If this looks fancier than my usual works, I just apply the fonts when I copy the work from the drafts on my Google Docs, something I don't usually do for short works for timely costs, and because half of my works are made on the Notes app of my phone which has no precise font.
