Oasis (Old)

Oasis (Old)

A Poem by Stu. T.H.

... I remember the days when I am free, of my works and all duties, I was on a short adventure of mine, a dive into the natural world, hidden away from men(*)'s modern cultures. There, deep inside the woods and timber lines, after a canopy of foliage, I see... A pond so bright and kind as sky has ever be, thus I complimented the pond, but got no reply. But, I was content with it.
Thus, I spoke...

"Water flies brightly, reflecting the sky,
All my sorrows, all hidden and gone hide.
River gently flows, caressing my chaste,
You, oasis on earth, deserve my amaze."
