My Hearts Keeper

I never thought that it would be 
Quite so possible for me 
To want to hold someone so much 
Just to feel their special touch 

I wish things were not quite as tough 
Thinking about you and all that stuff 
My day begins and ends with you 
Theres nothing that I wouldnt do 

My heart feels so at home when I 
Spend time with you, by your side 
And then when I look into your eyes 
All the tension and heartache dies 

Theres nothing in the world that can 
Keep me from one day being the man 
That will make you know where true love lies 
That will make your heart reach for the skies 

And so I wake up by the suns beam 
And realise it was but a dream 
One I hope will come true one day 
When all these challenges have gone away 

Intently I will wait on you 
Until I know what you want to do 
But until then I will stand aside 
These feelings I will have to hide
