Summer Loving

Summer Loving

A Poem by Donald Foggitt

Why is it that when I

Start to think of you

I find myself so damn confused

Like I dont know what to do

There are times it seems to me

My hearts in the right place

But then you turn around and I

See the look upon your face

Sometimes youre hot, somtimes youre cold

Sometimes youre inbetween

Sometime I just cant make out

What the hell you meaan

So far this is the biggest

Secret that I've ever kept

Probably why its been ages since

I have actually slept

My mind keeps ticking, whirling

Wondering, playing out a scene

Even in the middle of the day

Do I sit about and dream

Of the day when things will go

Just the way it should

Just to hold you in my arms

Oh how I wish I could
