Another Father's Day

 Another Father's Day without my Dad.

He was such an amazing Dad, if only

everyone realized the way I did.

It was hard for him to talk, but the

look in his eyes told me everything.

I will never forget the way he

squeezed my hand the last day

I ever saw him.

He was so strong and held on to his

last moment.

Nobody deserves to be in pain,

like he was.

Even though I miss him so much,

I'm glad he is no longer in pain.

The loss of your father is always going to be hard for you... I watch my friend as she goes through it as well, I was there when her dad passed and was fortunate to be her shoulder... I watched as he couldn't even remember her... But she knows he loved her and I can only try to help her when it gets hard.. Hopefully you have someone to help as well.. And my condolences to you.. What a moving tribute to your dear Dad. I like this poem a lot the fact that you realise he is not in any more pain and suffering.
I lost my Dad going on 26 years ago. Its hard not to see the ones we loved so much anymore.

I'm glad people have fathers whose memories they will always find happiness from. It is a father's day where he is not in pain and though no longer here (and forgive this sappy quote) he resides in your heart to be remembered gladly and cherished.

This poem makes me feel like holding my father's hand forever so that we both can't let go each other!!
A precious and relaxing shadow of life is mom and dad....all the best of best they tryna do to make us happy...and in return they wish only our presence around them...hope I can touch the milestone which my father desires for me in my lfe...and that could bloom the most beautiful smile on his face...am proud of my dad...glad that you're also Donna!!😊
