To Whom it may Concern,A Poem by DonnaJust a few things that are on my mind.To Whom It May Concern, I have a few things that I need to get out. When we hear about another school shooting in the United States, everybody is devastated. For the next week, that is all we hear on the news. The students are begging for someone to do something. After a few days, it is done and over with until it happens again. I don't see anyone trying to fix this problem. We have a president that is an embarrassment to me as an American. What is this world coming to? Why do we have so many homeless people? In my city alone, we have thousands of homeless. How could this be? Why don't we help them? So many Americans commit suicide everyday. Why don't we have better mental health care? We have so many mentally ill people and nobody cares. Is it because we have so many people living here that we don't care if we lose some? To me there is just no excuse for this. We need to start helping people. Look at our Veterans, they are treated horrible. These people fought for us and risked there life, and we turn around and treat them like crap. Things need to change in America. We are headed in the wrong direction. When are we going to get together and make this right? Isn't it all about helping one an other? So instead of wasting time on talking about building walls and deporting people, how about we start talking about fixing our problems here and making things right! © 2018 DonnaAuthor's Note
