The Locked DoorA Story by DonnaMy best friend Linda and I have been friends since high school. Linda was always the pretty, popular, cheerleader type, while me on the other hand was shy, plain one, but for some reason, we got along great. Linda has been in Real Estate for many years now, and is a little bored with it. She was thinking about this for a long time and finally made her decision to quit working and move to Arizona and buy a home and then invest in more homes or apartments to rent out. Once she got there, she got a hotel to stay in until she could find the right home for herself. She started searching for homes to buy so she can rent them out. She found a nice one. She fixed it up and it rented fast. Then she found another one, this one had two bedrooms and one bath. It was very cute. This one was not renting. I decided to take a weekend off and visit Linda, it was only a six hour drive. Linda was thrilled when I told her I was coming. She also told me, "I do have some appointments over the weekend, but I want you to stay in my house that is vacant right now. There is a bed in one of the bedrooms." Linda walked to the door and said, "Kim, I have to get going now, I will see you in the morning and oh, by the way, Keep the deadbolt on the front door, and make sure you lock the chain-lock." When Linda left, Kim locked the deadbolt, and then the chain-lock. Kim took a shower and then lay down on the bed. It was a long ride and she was tired. She woke up and looked at her watch, 2:30am. Then she heard talking, it was Linda whispering and laughing. She could also hear a mans voice. They were trying to be quiet, They went into the other bedroom and the door shut. I guess Linda brought one of her boyfriends here for some privacy. Kim fell back asleep. In the morning, she got up and went to the other bedroom and nobody was there. I guess Linda and her friend got up early and left. Linda was always the big flirt with lots of boyfriends. I got my things together and went to the front door, She unlocked the deadbolt and then noticed, the chain-lock was still locked. THE END! © 2018 DonnaReviews
