Once Upon A Time

Once Upon A Time
a little girl sat in her room crying.
She picked up the book her Mom
bought for her today and started
to read it, "Once Upon A Time in a
beautiful castle lived a handsome
prince that was looking for his
princess."
She had dreams about being a
beautiful princess. She put the book
down and stood up, the handsome
prince was standing in front of her
with his hand out to help her up.
Surprised, she looked in her mirror
and couldn't believe it. She was a
gorgeous princess with a pink sparkled dress and a sparkled bow to match in
her hair.
They both danced together. What a dream
come true.
She woke up in the morning with the
book by her side. She hurried out of bed
and ran to the mirror to see that she had
her pajamas on. She felt sad again until
she looked up and saw the pretty sparkled
bow in her hair. She touched it and
smiled, "it is real," she said.
Was it really just a dream?

Every woman should wear a sparkling bow in her hair at least once in a liftime! Some would say how childish or/and irrelevant but the magical reality felt in the heartis what matters. The mind can mind its own business some of the time!!
Tis a delightful poem, sweet and charming and a change from my and others' somewhat grey, inane, over-elaborated, caustic, etc. etc. etc. posts! Thank you. :)

the fairy tale ending will always fascinate us readers whether the story was based on a dream or not does not matter as long as even for a short time she was a princess with a prince in tow who wouldn't love it?
