The Death Penalty in the U.S.

Everyone is entitled to there opinion and this is mine.

I believe the Death Penalty in the United
States is wrong. When you kill another person, of course you need to be punished. Killing is wrong no matter who it is.
We have no right to take a life, but we do have the right to give them life in prison. God is the only one who will take care of this. In the end, they will answer to God. It is not up to us.
There are so many executions in the United States that we don't even hear about them anymore, and even worse, there have been so many executions to later find out they were innocent. Its horrible. That could be your Father, brother or even your son. Just imagine how you would feel.
Nobody seems to care. These are real people just like you and me. We must stop the killings. We must stop all executions. If you read this please just think about it.
Killing is wrong no matter what.

Indeed, there is no wrong or right answer with opinions, and this is exactly the same if we're talking about life and death. I think the death penalty is rather a stupid thing to be sent for, and yes, if you believe in god, god will cope with you, god may take you, but in the perspective of being a human, we're all the same and killing another one of us is just purely wrong, which is for some reason, still going on in the United States, as some think it is correct for them to send people to death for the monstrous crimes that the heartless have committed. Sure, some of them don't give a s**t but some of them look at their actions on the day of their execution and apologise for what they've done yet they kill them, which proves the criminals actually care and think it is wrong, that they have emotions and proves why you shouldn't kill them. I'm an atheist, but my religious education teacher reminded me in the bible that Jesus said to forgive people a rather large amount of times while they do what they do, yet they don't look on this much, and still kill these people, I think the executioner would be more of a criminal than the criminal that had previously committed those crimes, that had prepared him or herself for the executioner on the day of execution. Point well made, I like hearing people's opinions. I totally agree with you, and I think that the idea of the death penalty should be destroyed, the idea should be discontinued, and instead replace it with the highest amount of time you can be in prison for, the rest of the person's life. We've discussed this topic in year nine before, (which to you, in America, means ninth grade), we were writing an argument in our books about it and made a counter argument so a little bit of what I have said comes into it.

Thank you. Well like you said, people are entitled to their opinions. I mean I am 13 years old, but I've changed my date of birth so that I can read mature poems by the way. Don't think I'm some sort of adult undercover.
