Shattered Heart

There was this heart
Broken in a million pieces
Many saw this heart
But didn't it could be fixed
When you saw this heart
You picked it up
Piece by piece
Everyday you put the pieces back together
You took your time
You held it gently
You loved it
After many beautiful years
This heart began to heal and grow strong
It also could love again
This heart loved like never before
One day
You threw this heart down
And walked away
As it shattered into a million pieces
Many saw this heart
But knew it couldn't be fixed this time.
