The Best In Me       Was it fate or just destiny's call That led me back to where I'm most comfortable of all Over the years You tapped upon my heart Pulling me back to where I made my start I drifted from place to place just looking for my own Never quite finding a place to call home As I glance over my shoulder the many footsteps taken It was always here that my heart was smitten So many have come and gone to never be forgotten Dearest Albert and Tess Oh my heart they did brighten This place once called home has opened its doors wide and welcomed me back as the morning tide. So many familiar and many new faces So many warm welcomes and many warm embraces It is because of you my ink can freely flow I pray my search is over for a place I can go My wings once again spread for the whole world to see My friends it is you that brings out the best in me In dedication to the awesome Cafe Poets My friends... My family I thank you all so much.
