Oh my dearest of dear friends How we have dreaded this day so I know I promised to be with you yet I find I can't... All I can do is pray
I had the true pleasure of meeting your Mom to me she was so gracious and kind Made me feel like true family and for the moment to all else I was blind
We spend hours on the phone wishing for togetherness to have just one more turn We've talk so often of just going shopping Yet now we shop together on line for your Mother's Urn.
I wish so much to be there, if just to hold your hand To dry your tears when they begin to fall I have to remain strong and focused but when I hang up the phone is when my weakness calls
Mothers and Daughters, oh how they can struggle but never ever doubt the love For no matter how the connection was made rest assured the union was blessed from above
So many dreams So many tears So many precious moments So many lost years
We keep what we most need and discard the rest Cling to what makes your heart smile and do for "You" what is best.
I'm praying your days get easier with time let those hold you up who love you so I pray you feel my love across the vast distance for my dearest dearest friend we have many miles to go
Well this has done it. Tears are falling my friend. This is beautiful, and sweetie, I know that you have been praying for me. If it were not so, I am sure I would not have gotten this far through this. There is no greater friendship and love to be given, then to set for an entire afternoon, and search for Urns to to try to find a way for my Mom to be at rest. When she is resting, perhaps then, I can rest as well. I love you so much Donna. Never ever doubt that for one second. Let me dry the tears, and I will call you.
Thank you for your love, for your friendship, and for just being my beautiful Donna.

Reflections Of My Heart
All the poems on my site
have come straight from the heart,
my heart.
Some are true life experiences,
some are fears, and some are
dreams for the future.. more..
