The River of Life and Faith   Well in my thoughts of a New Year write I have been tossing around in my head and heart all week and not being sure where I wanted to go with it I started a search of my music to see what would trigger my muse. Then I ran across this song by Garth who seems to speak to me quite alot here lately, but the more I listened to this song the more I could relate to it Then I remembered a picture I had taken some years ago and they just seem to fit together   This picture is of what appears to be a never ending path of protected waters of an unknown destination. It dawned on me that no matter where it leads I still have to sail it. I have to go down my destined path that God has laid out for me trusting and knowing that He will place me where He needs me to be. That I can not look at the unsuccessful aspects of my life as a failure, but as a learning experience and that I probably have so much more learning to do. So this river of life that I sail upon is my destiny. Where it ends? Well only He knows... I just have to continue trusting and having faith in the Captain of this ship I sail upon knowing He will not let me fail. Stumble and fall yes, but never fail. So with those thoughts I wish each of you smooth sailing this next year. Know that He is with each of us every day... We just need to have faith...
