Love Is I really wasn't ready to even attempt to replace him yet... Five years is a long time for the pain of such a loss to last, but he filled every crevice of my heart and when he left the pain was unbearable but the love remained... All of it... A love I will never forget or let go of. What led me to that site on the web that night Well I really haven't a clue. Just browsing thru picture after picture reading personal information on each and then there were those eyes that seemed to reach down to my soul right thru my heart I immediately began to think Can I do this again... Do I have what it takes... Am I the right one for you... Can I love that deeply again. Can You ??? It says you are a good listener Well with those eyes that is a given. That you have a playful side Oh I pray that you do... That you also accept and give love freely Oh how badly I need that again But can I give you what you need Well with the encouragement from my dearest friends I decided to take the chance... On January 2nd I finally felt you in my arms Oh the warmth and love you gave back in return I had forgotten how it felt to truly smile from the heart. In less than a month you have given me so much joy.  To have you beg me not to leave in the morning. To not come home to an empty house with you meeting me at the door The laughs... To feel you next to me in the night The good morning  kisses When you want attention the way you have of getting me off of the computer then taking my chair so I wont get back on. Oh the joy we share every day I know will last a life time. You are such a treasure in my life just like he was but in your own way. Once again I understand what unconditional love is... Oh Sweetie, this is just so beautiful as is your beautiful Mz. P. I just knew when you sent her picture and the imformation on her that night that the two of you were meant to belong to each others hearts. Your beautiful baby is also a part of my heart just like you are. Two favorite girlie girls. LOL

I am so glad that you added the warning that took your precious Rusty from you. People just do not realize what can happen when antifreeze is stored improperly or not disposed of properly.

I don't think love ever dies completely but we have to find that time when we need to move on... it can be different for everyone, even when it comes to pets cause they are just as much of the family as humans... what a wonderful heart you have to care bout your pets this way.

Mz. P, her mother and brother were rescued from animal control and a week away from being destroyed when
a local animal shelter rescued them. I got her from the shelter and as the story above explains it was just
by accident (maybe not) that I ran across her... I lost my precious Rusty about 5 years ago when he got out of
the house (he was not an outside cat) and after several days he came literally crawling back home. He was so near
death. I rushed him to the emergency veternary clinic who told me he had gotten into antifreeze and his organs
were shutting down. He took a huge piece of my heart when he died at about 4am the next morning. Really had no
intentions of ever getting another pet after one try after Rusty that turned into a total disaster. But I have my
beautiful Penelope now who has soooo quickly wiggled into my heart...

People please know that Antifreeze is deadly to animals and because of the sweet taste they will readily drink it.
Please dispose of it properly and not just leave it in an open plastic pan as my Rusty found.

Adopt a pet they bring such joy to your life...
