In What We Say and Do



As in the picture above
They copy what they see
It's how they learn
From you and me

They are but on loan
From our Father above
To mold and shape
To guide and love

They are not born
Knowing right from wrong
We are responsible
They learn from our song

They are so young
So innocent and free
Vulnerable to this world
They learn from what they see

Their little minds absorb
all they observe and hear
They are the responsibility
You and I must share

It is the example
That we must be
These precious little ones
Copy the actions of all they see

They must be protected
Surrounded by love
They are a precious gift
From our Father above

They can not see the evils
They face each and everyday
They stand ready to trust
For that, oh so many do pay

They are so precious
They are so frail
Being their example
In this we can not fail

From us everything
They learn how-to
We must be ever so cautious
In what we say and do

young lady that is very special to
me that has no example to mold
her life by and no guidance to help
her thru life and for that
my heart breaks but makes me
so thankful my grandchildren
have the parents they have

My children and grand children are very precious to me
My two boys are not perfect but they both make wonderful parents
I have never seen children more happy than my 4 grand children
At play with their parents
