Beyond the Rainbow I Have Seen  My life it seems I have spent in search of this place illusive Where a love resides like no other and no other can be intrusive That mystical place and pot of gold now waits for me to just reach out and hold So close yet so painfully far This will not become another life's unreachable star I have had a taste of the sweetness of your love that I know is kissed by angels and sent from above Yet once again my fate was to stand and watch you drive away not knowing when I will return to forever stay The inner pain that screams Oh please don't leave me here and all I can do is stand frozen with my suitcases and a tear You take with you only what I can leave behind My heart ... My soul and My love for all time As the plane leaves the ground I feel my very essence drain and replaced by the emptiness and lonely pain This horrid block that stands between what our hearts yearn I know not how to get beyond or when I will return... But my precious love beyond the rainbow I have tasted I know what waits for us I know what is fated Our strength must match that of our love of which I pray will be granted from above I love you and will be there soon I pray by your side I will be forever and a day Our pot of gold awaits Just beyond the rainbow This I have tasted...
