After The Love Is Gone ღ KKD ღA Poem by Donna DeLong Matthews aka Gold Pen Ghostto ever trust him again but does not unconditional love survive fallacy and pain I know not what is being offered His reasons are not clear could it be regrets or that I've not shed enough tears This time of presentation is both bad and good I need his strength to draw upon to extend if he only would While yes my strength is drained the me I am he can not remake We are well past the point of control over me to take A lesson that needs to be learned love is more giving than take What he offers severely lacks and that I can not remake So to you my heart and soul this road I can not walk down The you I fell in love with is no where to be found I wish you love I wish you joy but my heart can no longer be just another toy You were my every dream of what love should be You were but a fantasy that I now clearly see Upon our road of life that has now split in two You go left... I'll go right and to you I must bid adieu Why did you have to return Why did my heart you tap upon Why??? After the love is gone.... ღ D ღ Original by Donna DeLong Matthews December 2007 Audio After The Love Is Gone
