Forever Love   She once again finds herself upon life's road alone She knows what lies ahead will chill her to the bone This road is no stranger to her lone foot prints It is her home ground As into loves hell she descends Why is this road her always destined path Why must she always fall prey to loves vicious wrath The love that was given by a heart shown tender and sweet Now leaves hers shattered, broken and scattered at her feet With in her beating breast lies emptiness and pain She struggles upon life's path tightly bound by loneliness chains What is it that she does that never yields true love She falls on bended knee asking of Him above She asks for the black shroud of eternity to take her away She is beaten and tired and no longer wishes to stay Her sun has turned to ice Her moon obscured by thick clouds The wind that once tossed her hair is now a choking death shroud Regardless of where you go Matters not what you do With in her heart She will forever love you KKD Original by Donna DeLong Matthews June 2007 Always Love You ~ Dolly Parton View All My Poems © 2008 Donna DeLong Matthews (All rights reserved)

A man who is honest, capable and willing to show you true love and respect
