Queen of This House ~~~~ Sing Along ~~~~   Husband for sale or rent Kids, I give ya fifty cents. No time, no rest, no fun Oh I need a shot of rum. Ahh but looks like I ride a broom but its used to clean this room Im a woman who says what she means Queen of this House Third white house, on the right Visitors??? Oh Im such a sight Old worn out robe and shoes its only 8 and I smell of booze I have put a few small pounds short but not too big around Im a woman who says what she means Queen of this House I know every doctor for every pain all of their patients and all of their names and every med for every ill and every shot that been shot because theres no pill I sing, Husband for sale or rent Kids I give ya fifty cents. I loved this!! Very cute and very true. Really original and fun idea, and I bet mums everywhere are agreeing, relentlessly. When it comes to houses, the queens (mums) are the most important members and leaders, and they need a lot of respect for everything they do. This poem kind of tells us this. Very nice poem.

Not quite like the original, but cute. Mostly true, but not in all cases. My wife does very little that could be described as "housework." In fact, I do all the cooking, the dishes 90% of the time and look after our teenager and his myriad needs. Sam (Manly-man, jar-opener, bug-squasher, chief cook and bottle-washer, repairer of broken purse straps,etc, etc.)
