SheA Poem by Donna-MarieIn the days After the crash The world came to know her name.
She was hated And loved, With such verocity It seemed surreal.
Nobody came to see her. The world just spun on it's axis. Now so aware of her Yet, so distant as well.
Time seemed to waver around this one event It staggered, It stalled. Reluctant to move forward.
Her soul was crushed. Her dreams shattered. Living in some sort Of hollow pit.
Darkness was echoing Around her soul. Threatening to overcome her.
Long, long days Infinite nights. The seemingly endless Array of torturous thoughts. A hollow life.
" It will get better" They cried. But she knew the truth.
There was no going back now. She had to wade Through the excrement of grief.
She was forever changed, Forever different, Forever.
A large chunk Had been carved from her heart. Butchered whilst she still was awake.
'You can't go back to Normal life after that' She thought.
'You can just exist ........just.'
As the world now considered her, She was judged be each And everyone Who crossed her path.
Yet, guilty or not, Her own mind, Was judge, jury And executioner.
