My daughter

My daughter

A Poem by Donna-Marie

Such a wonderful smile,

A kind loving heart.

The day you left,

My world fell apart.

No longer will we sing,

Our hearts' songs together.

I thought you were here to stay,

Now I have to wait til forever.

To hold you in my arms again,

To share your joy you pain.

If only I could have another moment,

Now nothing can be the same.

Tears flood my soul,

My heart will never mend.

Why do I have to wait til forever,

To see you again.
