Southern Border

A Story by Sean Allen

Border Crossing

AP March 1, 2009

In a little reported change in the way the Obama administration counts the number of illegal aliens crossing our southern borders, Sheppard Smith of The Fox News Channel quietly read this statement in his February 29th Fox’s around the world in 90 seconds segment…

“Laredo Texas… The city council of Laredo Texas has joined with the similar agency in Nuevo Laredo Mexico and decided to begin reporting the ‘Net’ number crossing the border within the joint city limits. As the US economy continues to falter, there are an increasing number of Mexican immigrants who are crossing the border back from the US side to the Mexican side of the Rio Bravo. Several of these people are also taking US citizens with them.”

Nuevo Laredo in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas and the city of Laredo in the State of Texas are “Sister Cities” on the banks of the Río Bravo del Norte (Known as the Rio Grande in the United States.)

The new reporting procedures will begin June 1st 2009 after details as to how US citizens going along with their Mexican families to Mexico will be counted are worked out. It is expected that a Mexican citizen married to a US citizen will make the whole family including children under the age of 18 “Mexican” in regards to the “net” border crossing count. Relationships between a Mexican and a US citizen that they are not married to will result in a “net” border crossing of zero. Children of these relationships will be counted as Mexican citizens or US citizens based on their birth certificates.

As the US economy continues to worsen and US unemployment rises, it is certain that the “net” number of crossings will result in reduced border control funding coming into Texas from the Obama administration in Washington. The Calderón administration in Mexico City is expected to pick up the lost funds in Austin Texas.

I find is even ridiculous that anybody on this earth claims their lands... The earth belongs to everybody, to all creatures and they should live together in harmony. (Not to speak how ridiculous it is that man dominates all the other creatures). So, I find it ludicrous that man made boundaries (exactly what animals do, too; they mark their territory, I read Robert Ardrey's Territorial Imperative once again). Who has a real for himself, and love for God, and love for all this beuty on earth, something as all 5 world religions and sects claim - such one would work towards opening the boundaries. But then we have another problem: we are too many on this earth, there is not enough food. I seriously believe that all possessions are a theft. I write an essay about it. Real love to God would be altruistic and would create an absolutely free world and everybody would trade with everybody just by using his talents and live whereever he likes to live this would give him balance and health and happiness for heaven - is right now and here.... There are people who love their deserts they wouldn't like to live in western world; so many western people have angst (also in this country where I am) that dark-skinned and foreigners take their jobs and run down their property, taking their jobs, etc). This is not so. Real love to God what Christianity claims is altruistic. They yet don't do it. The others, don't do it, too. Everything is politics. Absolutely everything.
This was a great story.
