Strawberry MoonA Poem by Sean AllenEveryones favorite time of year
Strawberry Moon
Algonquin harvest
While orchestrating longer days,
the sun sends down its golden rays.
Then April’s rains join in the song
and all that grows will not be long.
The harvests still are moons away,
but one red berry wants to play.
So June is when Strawberries come,
and we can all join in the fun.
The moon that follows spring’s sweet tune
Algonquins called Strawberry Moon.
