A touch from God
A silver snowflake was once born,
on a cold and happy Christmas morn. And God spoke to this newest child,
telling ‘bout about the meek and mild. So high in the clouds, up in the sky,
this newborn crystal starts to fly. To do God’s will and make Him proud,
this tiny flake has left its cloud. And towards the Earth it travels through
ten billion flakes, on a course that’s true. Yes each flake’s different from the rest,
can this one somehow pass God’s test? And as it drifts down towards the Earth
it’s searching for something of worth. Through wind and ice the flake does sail,
God’s mission this flake will not fail. At last it spies what it does seek….
and it comes to rest upon your cheek. © 2009 Sean AllenFeatured Review
