Dawn

Dawn

A Poem by Sean Allen
"

My muse is coming back and gave me this this morning. May still edit a bit, but had to get back here, Facebook is such a waste of time when we could be writing poetry!

"

Dawn

No one knows

Which awakens first.

The flower turns

toward the coming Sun….

Or the Sun beckons the flower.

But as they meet

The colors of their spectrums

find matching shades

As they become as one

United in ….

United in what

You might ask yourself….

Is the flower some pawn?

Some child of the Sun?

Or does the Sun serve the flower?

As they unite in the bliss

Of the beautiful dawn,

Does it really matter?

If her petals stretched first

Towards the warmth of his Light?

Or if he picked her out….

From the billions of blooms?
