Unforgiving Jesus

Unforgiving Jesus

A Poem by Donkey!

2004-02-15

How much more can I take, walking around this fiery pit. Where’s this god for christ’s sake? I would sell my soul for s**t. Wandering through this world, it seems to be never ending. The path in front of me is blurry, the good and bad are blending. I’ve cried out to the lord, whom everyone trusts, but I’ve never been restored... only kept being ignored. To cover everyone’s sin this jesus gave his life, but still deep within I want to use the knife. I can’t live my life for him, I have to stop pretending... as my life turns grim, so I start descending.

About
My poems are from when I was in High School. They're old and I was young, and probably could've been written with a better flow, so bear with me. I myself am currently enlisted in the Marine Corps.. more..
