A Poem by Donicca Dona L

I didn't try to heal
the broken pieces
she left.
Even when I wish you never went through.

I guess I am just not her,
sometimes I wish I met you before
I would have done just a thing different from her
I would have broke my own heart
to keep yours  safe.

ahh you loved her in the way you knew love.

you wouldn't break your own heart to protect his heart, it doesn't sound right. Love is so unfair sometimes, my dear.

Nice poem, Donicca.

I hope you're not going through any heartbreaks.
I understand this poem. Love is never fair. We find love too late. Seem the person we love became colder. Thank you Donicca for sharing the amazing poetry.
