This poem is dedicated to all of the young women that were a part of my stays at hospitals. You guys gave me hope.. I hope you can have some to. For all those that know what it's like.. just breathe.

Breathe in Breathe out

Breathe out the breath you've been holding for so long

 

Breathe in the good Breathe out the bad

Let go of the pain to which you've been holdin on

 

It's hard to forgive him for the pain he put you through

the way he touched you

the way he broke you down

 

Breathe it in Breathe him out

Show them all you've got what it takes

Put them in their place

 

Breathe in the real you Breathe out your fake smiles

You are better than them

Does their opinion really matter?

 

What they said to you still runs through your mind

As if that day is on rewind

 

I know they made you feel unworthy

But it's the other way around surly

 

Just breathe in the good Breathe out the bad

It's all on you now

 

Breathe in Breathe out

 

It's your stage now Your turn to bow

This is your time to shine

Don't hold it inside.
