Prom night

Prom night

A Poem by Donald Paris
"

A non rhyming pantoum

"

“ This is so depressing”,

Slips from her soft brown lips.

Discontent radiates from her ebony eyes.

Hands grip each other in the dark.

Slips from her soft brown lips,

Down to her brown sugary skin.

Hands grip each other in the dark.

Sweat rolls down backs.

Down to her brown sugary skin.

Hips grinding, thrusting; panting

Sweat rolls down backs

As the tempo increases

Hips grinding, thrusting; panting

Discontent radiates from her ebony eyes

As the tempo increases.

“This is so depressing”.

That made me laugh. It's interesting how you repeated certain lines, it ties it together. Especially how you started and ended with the same line. Very nice.
