Silent Rage

Silent Rage

A Poem by Dominique Lambright
"

The pent up anger only stirs when no one is around

"
It comes and goes
This feeling that hugs my soul
Its infection spreads
To my mind
To my body
To my heart
Encompassing the good inside
Walking around with a big smile
With this pain inside running deep
The optimism clouded
Hard to find in the fog of rage
The pessimism escaping through the seams
Yet so silent no one can tell
But only you can't help to dwell
On this deadly case you've caught

Thank you. I was in a mood haha
Internalizing ones feelings, especially rage, can feel like what you've described here. It is like a sickness, spreading to almost every corner of your being. Well done.
