un impeto d'acqua che 
bacia la sabbia.

Translation:

Daughter of the sea:
A water impetus that
kisses the sand.

Very short, but it sounds pretty. This was kinda obvious though not really challenging, a wave because it just grazes the sand and back out to the sea it goes, like a small kiss on the cheek. Daughter of the sea, meaning offspring, or a smaller part of, a wave originating from the sea. use logic and it is simple. Nice write

This is a fine poem, and proves that translation can produce lines of incredible beauty, maybe due to the direct transfer of syntax. Really good poem.
