A Poem by 外人 (Gaijin)
"

Poem I've written about a great hobby i wish i could practice more, photography !!

"

Translation (please check out "note for reviewers" before readint):

Title: A photo

A photo, a moment stolen from the slow tic-tocing of time,
made immortal in paper that sweat feelings
visible only to the photographer, and maybe not even to him,
subtitles of a pure truth hidden in the daily hypocrisy.

Whether it is a memory of the person that doesn't belong to you anymore
of the place you won't see anymore or
of a time that will not come back
it is always the most jealously kept.

A photo is able to conserve several informations and
release them a little bit more everytime to the observer who is trained to hear them speak
but first of all, photos are the memories, we care the most,
the copy we've made spontaneously of the memories we want to last forever.

Author's Note

外人 (Gaijin)
This is my first, and so far only, poem written in my mother tongue, Portuguese.
Hope you like it =D
About the translation: I've only done one to make it possible for people who don't speak portuguese to understand, but it's a terrible one.
Just use the translation to understand, then go back to the original :)

I like the two languages. I believe the more languages you can speak. The value of words become more important and strong. I agree with your poem. A photo can bring people and good times back with a quick look. Thank you for the excellent poem.
