White ChristmasA Poem by 外人 (Gaijin)Hope you like it :)
Sparks of white snow fall
Miles away from my window, Gathering under a winterly, Foreign soil, an old dream of mine. A lonely, unspoiled land, Enriched by the joyful sight Of a welcoming Christmas tree, My inner eyes greedily behold. Such far, northern landscape Awakes in me a strong call For wanderlust I can't ignore, Thus, I wish and long and crave. A gentle wind carries from there A hopeful message to my heart: Christmases are still to come When my steps shall kiss this land.
