Minha princesa Boliviana (translation below)

Minha princesa Boliviana (translation below)

A Poem by 外人 (Gaijin)
"

Just a love poem, hope you like it :)

"
Choram La Paz, Sucre
E a inteira Bolivia,
De saudades dela.
Pois perderam:

Sua filha mais querida,
Sua flor mais cheirosa,
A luz do lindo dia,
A musa dos poetas.

Roma roubou-lhe
Sua joia mais preciosa,
Como arrancou-me do Guanabara.
Mas hoje:

Nossas almas americanas,
Exiladas no velho mundo,
Na terra dos nossos trisavos,
Se encontram na eterna Urbe.

Princesa da Bolivia,
Em tua forçada corte italiana
Fez-me testemunho privilegiado
Da tua unica e sublime beleza.

Mas agora da-me mais.
Faze-me sudito dos teus desejos
E nada te faltara,
Guarda dos teus labios de mel,
E mil beijos recebera.

Torna-me enfim teu principe,
E meu coracao pra sempre teu sera.

TRANSLATION
Title: My Bolivian princess

Sucre, La Paz*
And the whole Bolivia
Cry for her.
Because they lost:

Their dearest daughter,
Their sweetest flower,
The light of the beautiful day,
The muse of the poets.

Rome stole them
Their most precious jewel,
Like it ripped me from Guanabara**.
But today:

Our american souls,
Exiled in the old world,
Land of our ancestors,
Meet in the eternal Urbe***.

Princess of Bolivia,
In your unwanted italian court
You made me a privileged witness
Of your unique and sublime beauty.

But now give me more.
Make me a vassal of your wills
And nothing you'll miss,
Protector of your honey-made lips
And a thousand kisses you'll recieve.

Make me then your prince
And my heart forever yours will be.

*= Sucre and La Paz are Bolivian cities
**= Guanabara is a bay in Rio de Janeiro, poetically speaking it represents the whole city.
***= urbe in latin means city, romans used to write it with capital U only when they were talking about Rome.

Beautiful photo and amazing words. Your words told the truth. Central and South America was raped and took years to lose the poison. No weakness in the outstanding poetry.
