Not so sure about this poem, feel free to help me out with this (title included) :) Bad translation (this one was difficult to translate)

Vi è forse canzone che riesci a ricordare
che possa superare il calmo suono del mare?
E quale poesia, opera o umano componimento
puo competere col canto mattutino di un uccellino?

Indicami un grattacielo, ammasso di cemento artificiale,
più imponente di una selvaggia cascata, opera naturale.
Quale arte, quale quadro di Monet, Manet o Degas
puo competere col chiaro rossore dell'alba?

TRANSLATION

Is there a song you can remember
that can outstage the calm sound of the sea?
And what poem, piece or human writing
can compete with the morning singing of a bird?

Point me a skyscrapper, accumulation of artificial concrete,
more stately than a wild waterfall, a natural thing.
What art, what picture of Manet, Monet or Degas
can compete with the clear redness of the dawn?

Everyday. a God's gift, sun kisses us,
wind strongly, friendly hugs us,
natural sensations that no machine can give.
Man, don't destroy what you can't recreate.

How insignificant your creation is,
so you envy Nature and bring it destruction.

Oh wow. The beauty of this poem... the message in the poem... it's just so wonderfully beautiful. I love thought you have in this poem. The way you compare things is really nice in this poem. I love this, not sure what to choose as my favorite part/lines.
Though I must say this part right here is really something:
"natural sensations that no machine can give.
Man, don't destroy what you can't recreate."
So true.
The first two stanzas... just... so lovely. Love them.
A bit speechless here with the way of thought in this write of yours. As well as the message. There is so much that nature has to offer us all. And so many are blind to see it. Just like the way of the comparisons and questions you wrote in those first two stanzas.
Beautiful poem. Love it a lot.

interesting that two people have sent me r/r's for poems about man's defiling natures beauty and can't create anything to stand above her natural beauty. this is well thought out and wonderfully worded verse. a solid and intriguing write...

Man has removed himself from nature and ultimately hurts himself. Nice piece.
