Minha infancia brasileira (translation below)A Poem by 外人 (Gaijin)Just turn 18 and I'm feeling kinda nostalgic towards my childhood, especially the part of it I spent in BrazilO feliz infancia que passei soltando pipa na rua de casa, catando as que caiam no quintal, nunca pensei que tudo isto hoje tanto estaria me faltando. Musicas hoje ensinam as crianças somente a xingar ! Quanto era facil a vida na minha infancia ! um simples pedido "quer ser meu amigo?", tudo resolvia. TRANSLATION Title: My Brazilian childhood O happy childhood I spent flying kites in my home street, collecting the ones fallen in my backyard, I've never thought I'd miss all of these so much nowadays. A few change used to buy my happiness, a candy, a buble gum or any other sweet-stuff, to uncle Beto's shop I used to go smiling, already imagining the candies I was going to buy. I was raised listening to Sandy and Junior's songs, sweet melodies that teach our souls to love, not funk* nor any worst music ! Music nowadays teaches children only to swear ! How easy my life was during my childhood ! a simple question "do you want to be my friend?" everything solved. Funk = I'm not talking about the North American one, I have nothing against it ! I'm talking about the brazilian funk which is a very rude kind of music that just like 99.99999999999% of Brazilians, I hate ! Sadly kids are starting to listen to it :(
